History of Yung Esau's Vintage

Yung Esau's Vintage Shop officially opened its doors in November 2025, but the story started long before that.

Around 2018, owner Aaron Stutz began using Instagram to share his personal collection of Grateful Dead memorabilia. What started as a passion for collecting quickly grew into buying, trading, and selling vintage Grateful Dead tees, connecting him with a dedicated community of collectors from across the country.

As the collection grew, so did the vision. Over time, the shop evolved beyond its Grateful Dead roots into a carefully curated selection of vintage clothing spanning the 1980s through the Y2K era. You’ll still catch plenty of Dead influence—whether it’s hanging on the racks or playing through the speakers—but the focus has expanded into one-of-a-kind pieces with personality, history, and character.

In addition to online sales, the project expanded into vintage markets and pop-up events throughout the region. After Aaron returned to the Lehigh Valley following an eight-year stint in Denver, Colorado, the opportunity came up to set up a booth at Belleville Market in Easton, establishing a steady local home base.

Today, you can shop the collection at the booth inside Belleville Market or visit the brick-and-mortar shop at 97 E. Broad Street in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
